Last modified on July 24, 2025

Over the weekend Hurricane Matthew relentlessly pounded our entire state with rain, flooding, and wind, causing catastrophic damage far inland. As well come back to Charleston and the surrounding areas we must now evaluate our situations and begin the repair/rebuild process. I want to extend my sympathy to anyone who has come home to devastation.

Once arriving home the last thing on your mind is having to deal with an insurance company adjuster. Contrary to what you see on T.V. commercials, the claims process is usually contentious and often the insurance company will wrongfully deny your claim. It is important to carefully review every line of your policy. If you have any question as the to meaning of certain legal words, please consult with an Attorney.
